Sandbox AI Studio is rated . The app is an AI photo editor: you pick one of your own photos, apply a preset or write a prompt, and get an edited image back. This page explains how we keep both the images the app generates and the presets shared between users age-appropriate, and why the 4+ rating reflects how the app actually works.
Every image is produced by third-party generative image models that we access through their providers. Those providers operate their own safety systems, which refuse requests for sexual, graphic, hateful, or otherwise disallowed content and block such output before it reaches the app. We do not disable, bypass, or weaken those safety systems.
Before a user's first generation, the app shows a consent screen that discloses third-party AI processing and requires the user to acknowledge our content rules, including an explicit agreement not to create sexual, hateful, violent, or otherwise objectionable content. The same prohibitions are binding under our Terms of Use, and we may remove content and suspend accounts that break them.
Photos a user selects and the images the app generates for them are never shared with other users, never posted anywhere, and never appear in any public area of the app. They stay with the person who made them.
The Playground is a browsable catalog of presets — recipes for an edit, not a gallery of users' photos. A published preset contains only:
Nothing is public by default, and nothing publishes automatically. When a user submits a preset — or when one is put forward automatically after it has been used ten times — it enters a pending queue and is visible to no one but its author. It becomes publicly visible only after a human moderator reviews and approves it. Presets that are not approved stay private. Moderators can also edit, reject, remove, or unpublish a preset at any time after approval.
Every community preset carries two controls, available to all users:
We act on reports, including removing content and suspending the accounts responsible.
Sandbox AI Studio has no social layer. Specifically, there is no messaging or chat between users, no comments, no likes, no follower or friend graph, no public user profiles, and no way for anyone to build an audience. Preset authors are identified only by initials. There is no advertising in the app, and no unrestricted web browsing — the only external links are to our own privacy, terms, and support pages.
To report content, request removal of a preset, or ask anything about how we moderate, contact Vlodkodesign, LLC at kindratyshyn@gmail.com or visit support. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (EULA).
